Privacy and cookie choices.

Calculator inputs are used to calculate the response. The application does not create accounts or persist calculator inputs in its data files, page cache or analytics. GET result URLs contain the values you enter, so your browser history can retain them. Avoid sharing private result URLs. The site sends Referrer-Policy: no-referrer.

Essential preference storage.

Your optional-consent choice is stored in your browser’s local storage under yearlynumbers-consent-v1. It contains only “accept” or “reject”; no calculator inputs. Use Cookie choices in the footer to change it. With JavaScript off, optional services remain off.

Optional Rybbit analytics.

On the production yearlynumbers.com domain, accepting optional analytics permits a cookieless, self-hosted Rybbit page-view script from analytics.pablobravo44.dev. It helps measure which public reference pages are used. It does not load on local or staging hosts, embeds, search queries or calculator/result URLs containing user inputs. We do not send calculator amounts as events. Rybbit’s server may process basic request and browser metadata to produce aggregated visit statistics.

Rejecting optional services prevents loading the script. Withdrawing consent reloads the page with optional scripts disabled. Closing the banner without accepting does not grant consent.

Advertising and affiliates.

Display ads and affiliate links are disabled in this release. If ads are enabled later, the ad script is withheld until optional consent and excluded from input/result pages. An enabled affiliate link includes a disclosure. External agencies and other websites have their own privacy policies.

Technical requests and logs.

Hosting infrastructure processes network requests. The supplied production Apache configuration omits query strings from access logs; the application does not log calculator inputs. Reverse proxies must also be configured to omit query strings. API rate limiting uses short-lived hashed client buckets and stores request counts, not calculator values.
