The maximum assumes no countable net income. The agency usually subtracts 30% of net income after allowed deductions, and minimum-benefit rules may apply.

Are these state eligibility limits?

They are the federal baseline. Broad-based categorical eligibility can change a state’s gross-income and resource screens.

When do rates change?

The annual fiscal-year table generally takes effect October 1. Temporary legislation and emergency supplements can change other periods.

Do Alaska and Hawaii have different maximums?

Yes. Hawaii has a separate table; Alaska has urban, rural 1 and rural 2 amounts.
